Singapore really is at the forefront of the whole "variable demand pricing" concept. To minimize traffic in the CBD (Centrl Business District), they have an automated toll system which chrages you a variable rate just for entering the downtown traffic area. The rate depends on time and traffic congestion. Being Singapore, all cars MUST have a FasTrack like device to pay the toll.

In the US, we have a similar system which is causing much wailing and ganshing of teeth lately. It’s called "gas prices".

To add to your excellent business model, The "Norms" of the bars with "Frequent Visitor" card don’t have to even wait for getting their next round. Just go to the tap and swipe your card and there flows the bitter nectar 🙂
