RS232 Setup

• Verify Full VISA is installed.
• Plug-in your Amptek device.
• Refresh the VISA selections in the TestDppSDK_RS232.vi panel.
• Select your RS232 device.
• Run TestDppSDK_RS232.vi.
• Verify the DPP Status Cluster is Updating with your RS232 device information.

RS232 Transmit/Receive Delays

• Larger packets require longer delays to insure data is received.
• Refer to RS232 Example Delay Values for Receive Data Delay Timer.
• Acquisition State Event "InitCalculatePresetDelay" demonstates setting the RS232_Delay.
• When changing packets being sent/received, RS232_Delay must be updated to insure data is received.
